I tore up my brackets this morning. The tournament doesn't even remotely resemble anything that I had picked.
I still have Pit winning it all and that's still possible but the rest is all garbage.
LEW...what happened to UK my man? I expected UC to lose to Illinois because UC, well, they suck. But UK???
I wonder if Kentucky will hold "flags at half staff" and "burn Tubby in effigy" ceremonies today?
Does anyone know if UC really was talking trash to Illinois as the papers claim. If so, that is the ultimate in low class. MHO.
UC is nowhere near good enough to be talking smack to anyone when the last three games they've won have been on last second desperation shots by Bobbit.
UC should have been a 7-9 seed. 4 was WAY too generous. Oh well. There is always next year when we will once again be two and out. IF we even make the tourney.
But UK....Lew, I'm disappointed. HAHAHAHAHA

Amazingly LAKE, Xaiver is stil in it. They are playing excellent basketball and if they keep up their current level of play, there is no telling how far they may go.

He was wide open, he could have lined up that shot and tested to see which way the air was moving before he shot that ball. Sad day indeed.

Well, The Bearcats went out in the second round butt.. They did tie for the regular season Championship and won their conference tournament.
It was still a good season and it was full of a lot of good moments. Anyone who was down there for any of the C-USA tourney or watched it knows that there was a ton of excitement going on.
As for UK, I kinda thought they'd have a tough time with UAB and that's TWO YEARS IN A ROW A C-USA TEAM HAS KNOCKED THEM OUT! Many expected UK to win the whole thing, and I'm sure many brackets ended up in the trash as yours did.
XU surprised a lot of people, and are into the sweet 16. I wish them good luck except for the fact that I keep hearing from XU fans who are more into the UC loss than they are their own win. (seems odd to me, I'd be into the fact that my team was into the sweet 16 and not even worry about what happened to UC if I was an XU fan)
I think UAB is the story of the Dance right now, and that XU is probably right behind them.
Who'd a thunk it?
The #1 and #2 teams from the Mighty SEC taken out by C-USA and the A-10.

I haven't been avoiding the question, I've just been tranquilized.....
Nah, hey it happens. I heard a little Lexington talk radio, of course the Tubby-Bashers are in full force.
The way I see it, UAB played harder and deserved to win. I still support the team, the program, the coach, and the players. Yes, it's disappointing after such a top-notch season. But, only 1 team wins it all, 63 go home losers.
FYI, though race may be a factor in some of the Tubby-bashers, you have to remember that, prior to the 96 title, there were a lot who felt that Pitino wasn't getting it done, either. And had Pitino not won in 96, he would have been on the hotseat.
Congrats to XU, I assume they'll lose to Texas but you never know....
